Just returned from 2 nights at this great little CL. The site is beautifully kept in an ideal location for exploring Horncastle (the "Antique Capital" of Lincolnshire). It is also ideal for dog owners as there is a "green lane" a short distance from the site where dogs can run freely and safely off the lead. The site is quiet, well sheltered and well looked after. We went on a circular walk, picking up part of the Viking Way, and stopping in Horncastle for a cup of coffee at the "Stable Bistro" (highly recommended) before returning to the site. In the evening we walked into Horncastle (15 minutes) enjoyed a few drinks before having a very good curry at the "Wania". The owners are very friendly and helpful.
