A pleasant site quite near 2 pretty villages, with easy access too other parts of the Lake District. The down side, certainly in warm weather are the flies the site has a large free range chicken barn and we were plagued with flies that managed to get in through the vents. It was not difficult to kill 20 plus flies a day inside the van, even when the windows were kept closed. Another irritation was the site owners dog who on an almost daily basis came onto the grass between the vans to do its business, I did complain about but the dog still kept up its daily routine. Not a site I would revisit.
