This is our second stay at this site. We enjoy the ease with which you can access various cycle tracks and hikes and the loveliness of the huge site with plenty of choice as to where to park. We watched the curlews foraging in the adjoining field and listened to their haunting calls. Not having a hook-up isn't a problem as we have a large solar panel and in the days are long in the summer! It is such a green and beautiful site with a choice of shaded or sunshine spots. The only slight blip was having to hang on to our rubbish as you have to make special arrangements for it to be disposed and only if you are staying for more than 3 nights (we weren't). It was very hot so the challenge was to prevent everything from smelling, but we did and managed to find a bin at a services where we could dispose of our rubbish.
