We stayed on this cl for a long weekend in november. We were able to watch the fireworks that were being let ooff in buxton. the cl was very quiet but had everything we needed, electric, fresh water, rubbish bins etc. there are plenty of places to visit. we caught the bus into buxton. Monsal trail is accessed by crossing over the road and a short walk downhill. the trail is very flat and has recently had a lot of renivation work done. All 6 tunnels are now open which means you can walk the full length of the trail without interruption. It's about 81/2 miles in total, a great walk with a lovely coffee shop at hassop station. all in all we had a great weekend and would stay at this cl with its great views and perfect location.
