Perfectly quiet
We were surprised that staying on a farm could be so peaceful! Although there are holiday cottages as well as the caravans we hardly saw a soul and there were no cars buzzing up and down. Usually the only sounds were the aircraft high up descending into Manchester Airport. The site is easy to get to and very central for many lovely places to visit. The only slight criticism would be that the grey waste disposal is a bit high when lifting a heavy container. We shall certainly be coming here again for the beautiful view and the silence.
