Warning!

I feel I ought to warn fellow members that, although I stand by my review of the site, we had a problem with two bookings. The first time we booked six months in advance for Eight acres but were informed just before we were due to arrive that we would have to stay at Tree Piece instead. This site was brilliant so that was not a problem. Unfortunately we had a 'phone call from Tricia last weekend to tell us that she could not accommodate us for our holiday at the end of May. We booked this holiday in 2014 and because we go as a group of three vans, we could not find another cl site for our dates. We are all very upset so please be wary! I am not such a 'happylady' at  the moment!!

Haven

Just spent another delightful fortnight at Tree Piece and all of us had a great time. The site is well maintained and the toilet facility(a cosy shed) is always spotless. It is so handy to have a tap for each pitch-brilliant for us oldies! Within easy reach of many attractions, it is ideally situated. The White Horse in Cromer is a good place for home cooking and Straits fish and chips in Sheringham are lovely if you want something naughty but nice! Tricia be warned- we shall be back!

Just the ticket!

We stayed on Tree Piece for 5 nights from 19th - 24th March 2014. It was early in the season and although the advert said it was open 1st April, we rang anyway and were able to get a pitch. (we were the only ones there for 3 of the 5 nights. The owner was already tending to the grass and the site is set out in a really roomy way with young, immature hedges dividing one pitch from another. When they grow, it will be even better. the site is some 200 - 300 yds from the A148 and although there is a little road noise, it is barely perceptable and generally, Tree Piece should be called Tree Peace! There is a toilet on site which is really handy and the chemical disposal is in another section of a substanstial wooden shed. There is a very well stocked information point in there too. Tricia, who also owns eight acres CL (which is much nearer the road) has obviously gone to great lengths to make this CL what it is. North Norfolk is a wonderful part of the country and this CL serves a great need it would appear as it is booked well in advance. The walk across the fields and heathland to West Runton is charming and then on to Sheringham or Cromer - We will definitely be back (if we can get in) Well done Tricia, if only all were like this!

Hidden Little Gem

It is a lovely, well maintained site with spacious pitches in a row with dividing hedges. Waking up in the morning to wonderful views over the fields was pure heaven. Useful having the individual fresh water tap. There is a large wooded shed which holds comprehensive tourist information, refuse bins, chemical disposal point and the toilet. The owner has been extremely thoughtful when setting up the site a year ago.  The location of the site is ideal with being on the A148; only two miles from Cromer where there is a Co-op and Morrisons, six miles from Holt which is a lovely town with independant shops and definately worth a visit, Wells next the sea, Blakeney, Holkham. I could go on and on. Truly a fantastic area. Overall, an excellent and peacful site which is ideally located to explore the surrounding area. (To note: the owner has another site 'Eight Acres' closer to the A148 which we did view but personally we preferred 'Tree Piece' with it being tucked away from the road, behind the farm and dividing field.)  We will return.

A very nice site.

We were not disappointed by this peaceful site ideally situated for exploring the immediate area. Five pitches each with it's own drinking water supply and views overlooking cultivated farm land extending to the horizon. Digital TV reception is good, we got 135 channels from our vans analogue aerial. A substantial wooden building houses a well appointed toilet, information room and chemical waste disposal facility. Our stay was not long enough to take in all that the area had to offer, so we will be back and will not hesitate in booking this site again. April 2013
