I’m slightly concerned about writing this review in case we can’t get booked in next time but we really really liked this site! We’re a family with two young children and it was perfect for us. Admittedly May half terms are different in different areas but I was amazed to see so many available pitches in a school holiday. We had a lovely five night stay and will definitely be back. Two other vans here who I presume are seasonal stays (nice spot for a seasonal pitch!) and really lovely people. We received a warm welcome from farmer Roger and friendly and helpful interactions with he and his wife over the weekend. The children loved spending time watching the tractor and seeing the animals including the very placid and friendly farm dog. Pitch - great to have water on each pitch, park where you want to and easy refuse and standard chemical waste disposal. Yes worth bearing in mind the slightly sloping pitches, but very manageable with ramps and blocks. Grass was cut unlike a previous review. Toilets - we didn’t use the on site facilities but they seemed clean and functional, don’t forget your own toilet roll just in case. There are two toilets and a shower. Area - this site is in the south east of the Brecon Beacons which was perfect for where we wanted to be.
