Wonderful!

The welcome couldn't have been warmer from Rachel and she was so helpful, this is one of the best sites we have stayed on. The Facilities were excellent as were the pitches and views. We were in the bottom field and it was so peaceful and great WiFi. Beaumaris is lovely, £4 for beach car park or £5 for castle car park but if you approach from the bottom of the town near the Menai bridge you may be able to park free along the road. We are glad we made this choice and would do so next time.

Perfect

Everything we like in a CL site .Superbly clean toilet and shower . We were sited in the part near the entrance which worked perfectly for us . Lovely owner who couldn't have been more helpful. We found it a good base for touring around Angelsey

Great Site

Just had two weeks on this site. It is just great. Water tap and electricity to each pitch, lots of space between pitches , toilet and shower available. Everything very clean etc. And has just had Wi-Fi installed although not showing in the Caravan Club book. We'll be back.

Fantastic CL

We have been staying on this CL for over ten years and can honestly say it is one of the best ones we have stayed on. John and Rachel couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower are always spotless and the grass is well kept. The previous reviewer who was complaining about the number if toilets was wrong because there is a separate toilet for the rally field and the top pitches He complains that the waste disposal is a long way from the CL field, I'm sorry, but 75 yards does not seem a long way to me. We have been club members for over 35 years and stayed on a number of CL's of varying standards and character around the country. I can only say that if this person does not like the standard and variety of CL's he should stay on Club Sites which have a standard quality. I, for one, will be staying on this CL, hopefully for many years to come.

Lovely break in beautiful surroundings

Really enjoyed our stay at the Campsite. Set in very peaceful and secluded surroundings we were really able to relax. The site is spotless and very well maintained. The location is a great base to explore the island which we love. Also there is a nearby pub which serves good food. Rachel and John are lovely hosts making us feel very welcome and providing valuable information about areas and attractions on the island. We look forward to visiting again very soon for some well needed R&R.

A bad start didn't end up getting much better!

Very unfortunately the GPS coordinate given for this site isn’t correct and it resulted in us first of all going to the very poor and minute CL which is quite literally only a few yards away up the road! The correct coordinates are 53.31630 –4.26460, please note I have duly advised the Club about. As for this site and the reason why I only give it a low star mark is for the simple reason that this is in effect 3 sites all in one, sharing the very same toilet and shower (which we didn’t use). On entering the site from the road, immediately to both your left and right are several pitches which were all occupied by touring outfits, then you drive through what is a quite large rally field which doubles as a dog walk and then you finally drive into a smaller paddock area that is the CL field which is very slightly sloping and in itself is OK, but as for the views, even in periods of excellent visibility, yes you can see the mountains way off in the distance, but it is hardly spectacular! And then there is the very long walk to the foul waste disposal point which at almost 100 mtrs. is far too far away and heaven knows what it would be like if there was a full rally field as well. The worst experience I had was that the owners had suddenly decided to increase their charges to £15 per night and had not advised me that they were doing so when I had made the booking only a few days before our visit. Needless to say I only paid the rate that was in existence when I had made my booking! Very poor for walking dogs from the site. The only good point I can make about the site is that there is an excellent Indian Restaurant only a relatively short walk away.

Great CL

Lovely CL in a great location close to the lovely village of Benllech with its great beach, local shops and cafes. Facilities are good, spotless toilet and great shower (no extra cost). Grass cut regular and field well kept. We were there whilst there was a rally on in another fielld. The owner did make us aware before we went and said it wouldn't bother us which it didn't. That said I didn't realise that you had to go through the rally field to get to/from the CL field and to get to/from the toilets/shower and I didn't like that bit particularly.

A gem of a site. You'll love it!

We have just returned home following a week in Anglesey at Tyddyn Osgar. This was our third visit to Brynteg and we had a wonderful time. We were lucky with the weather and had a great time with our dog, Charlie. The site is easily accessed and provides a peaceful and tranquil environment. Rachel and John are the most friendly and welcoming of hosts and provide excellent facilities for their guests Brynteg is an excellent base for touring the entire island and most places are easily accessible in a motorhome. I can recommend a walk down to the vast beach at Aberffraw and Cable Bay, a little further up the coast. Moelfre and Cemaes are a must for visitors. Plas Newydd also has wonderful gardens and provides spectacular views of the Menai Straits and the Britannia Bridge. We had a wonderful time and I am sure we will return again to your lovely site. Thank you Rachel and John.
