Tranquil location

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely site, everything was neat and tidy. Very spacious pitches - ours was number 4 and we didn't need levelling blocks. My only complaint is the lack of access to paths for walking, the road is quite busy so we had to use the car to get out and about. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, would recommend a visit to this site.

Lovely site

The friendliest welcome that we have ever experienced in our 7 years of caravanning. Beautifully maintained, secure coded entrance. Nice views. . Free Wi fi. Pitch was perfectly level. Fresh eggs available. Just perfect sums it up.

Great CL

This was our first visit to the Gower and this CL. Access was straightforward off the road (look out for the orange windsock) through a key coded gate. Site nicely laid out and like the previous reviewer, we didn't need any levelling blocks - the hardstanding area, certainly on our pitch (3) was perfectly level. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus and the signal very strong. Friendly owners and lovely eggs from their own hens/ducks. Down side for me was there was no walking from the site - although the traffic was infrequent, it was incredibly fast - not an option with dogs/children - so it was out in the car every day. However, the owner did indicate to us that he is going to create a right of way across his land which would then give access to common land and miles of footpaths - this would be a real boon. Good location for visiting the beaches around the Gower Peninsula and travelling into Swansea or further afield around the coast. Great value - highly recommended.

Good Base

Our Holiday took us to this well kept site, the air sock made finding it easy. Its says leveling blocks are required but raising the caravan two inches got us level. Everything was neat and tidy and there was nothing there that would stop us returning, in fact we stayed an extra few days, because the weather had been so unkind to us. Like any place near to the coast when the wind was blowing you knew about it, but within three miles you were able to reach the lovely beaches. Wifi was free which was a nice bonus, it was a shame that when they laid the site out they did not include a water tap to each plot, but now I am being lazy. On the negative side although there was an adequate dog exercise plot, walking from the site was a no goer, the road was just too dangerous to stroll along, but light traffic noise was not a problem. This meant of course that you had to use your car on a daily basis. We saw the owners two or three times and they kindly supplied each van with half a dozen of their hens eggs.

What a beauty...And it still is!

Here we are back again with the Whippets. From the very beginning of our arrival to our departure our perspective from our first original visit this time last year remains unchanged. FABULOUS! The high standards surrounding all aspects of this delightful CL still continue, no slacking a full year on. This doesn't happen by accident it takes hard graft and attention to detail- Well done Mike and Jane your formula is perfect. We will be back again. :) Lovely chucky eggs too - Thank you!

Fantastic CL

This is a really great new CL. Spacious pitches on an immaculately maintained site within easy reach of all the Gower's magnificent beaches and attractions. Quite often it is the little things which make all the difference, hardstandings that are level, information on local amenities and the provision of a good wi fi signal, to name but a few. Friendly pub just up the road serves great beer and food at very reasonable prices. Very helpful and welcoming owners - highly recommended.

Excellent CL

On our way back from Pembrokeshire we spent 8 nights at this CL to visit the Gower Coast. Well worth the visit, lovely site and Mike keeps the site in excellent condition and his always there if you need help. Will be returning to this site ideally situated for exploring the Gower coast. Must mention the wind sock which identifies the site entrance when driving along the road, brilliant idea Mike. Wayne & Anne

Well Maintained CL

Owners are very friendly and maintain the site to a high standard even providing dog bags. Access isn't the best but when you know to look for the wind sock it's easier. The weather was mixed but enjoyed our holiday June 2016. The down side is you take your life in your hands to walk on the busy road outside the CL and wouldn't do that with small children. Also there is only a very small dog exercise area. It would have been great if there had been somewhere to walk to over the fields.
