We stayed at Tyr Wennol for a week in August with our two children, we wanted somewhere quiet but friendly and that is exactly what Tyr Wenol is. The owner Keith is pleasant and helpful and really goes the extra mile for his guests, an example was him digging out his daughters old bike, repairing the punctured wheel so that the children who were there could play with it. The site is beautifully kept and the electric and water to every pitch is a real bonus, there are showers and toilets but due to the covid restrictions these weren’t open when we visited. The site is situated inland roughly halfway between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth and the closest beach is approximately 1 mile from site. We found the site well placed to explore this part of Wales and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this site to anyone wanting a peaceful well kept site in the heart of Ceredigion.
