On our arrival at this family run site we, and our little dogs, received a very warm welcome and a lovely Welcome Pack. It is a very peaceful site in the heart of the Devon countryside with beautiful views. Uplands is in easy walking distance of a Country Hotel (High Bullen) with a golf course and a bar that is open to non-residents, a local pub (The Exeter Inn) which has a very well stocked bar and offers excellent home-cooked food and a lovely little Community Shop. Both the hotel and the pub are dog friendly and there is a large dog walking area on site, plus many walking routes from the village. The facilities on site are excellent and very well maintained and the owners are only too pleased to help with any queries and information. We were able to help ourselves to fresh raspberries that were growing on site too. We only wish we could have stayed longer but this is a popular site and we were lucky to find a couple of nights that were free. We are actually not very far away and we enjoyed our break so much that we will definitely be returning. Thank you to Clare, Colin and Jordan for your hospitality.
