We stayed a Friday & Saturday night for a nearby wedding and Uplands provided perfect location for this. We were greeted by Jordan and provided with Tea/Coffee & Biscuits which was a lovely welcome touch. The email directions were fantastic and welcome pack very detailed. The bathroom facilities were spotless. There was a Freezer where you could keep food (which is a great touch). We visited the village pub (you need to book ahead, which we did) and had a lovely meal and the staff were all very welcoming - a really relaxed evening. There is a community run shop 2 minutes walk from your pitch if you need any essentials. We didn't bring our awning as was only staying 2 nights but put out our sun awning, the ground is very hard, the only criticism I have is the pitches are on large stones, may damage some ground sheets/footprints of awnings and a little awkward to walk on, other than that it was perfect, and fabulous views.
