Eight dogs on there holiday

We have just returned from a great 15 night stay here excellent site very clean easy to pitch nice welcome board to say we're to pitch friendly horse in the field great dog walk field would highly recommend going to boscastle for the night great pub& food free parking after 5pm also go to rock beach sandy & dog friendly thank you for a great stay

Our first ever CL!

After 20+ years with the club, and always staying on club sites, C19 convinced us to finally get around to staying on a CL... Thankfully we chose Venndown Farmhouse and we couldn’t fault it. We stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the site. The toilets and facilities were spotless and we felt absolutely safe using them. Camilla, Jacky and Richard were great hosts and take real pride in the site. We will definitely consider looking at CLs in the future... if they as good as our first!

Lovely Spot

A great CL in a picturesque area with easy access from the road. There were some hard standings, the remaining pitches were on slightly sloping but neatly cut grass. The road is fairly busy but very quiet at night. We were sent a most comprehensive email regarding the current Covid 19 restrictions and a very welcome list of places to visit There is a great dog exercise field (out of lambing season). We would definitely come again if we were down this way.

A great CL

Just got back from 2 nights at this perfect CL , welcome on arrival was warm and genuine Camilla even left a note for me on the door in case she was out. gave us a tour of the swimming pool and showed us where to pitch. Plenty of room for car and awning all pitches nicely mown as was whole of site , the dog walk was brilliant able to let my 2 off the lead for good run round they slept like logs. The pool was warm and clean we spent 4 hours in there kids had fun. The site has good access roads to it from main road and is well placed for local attractions. We will definitely be back as it was safe peaceful place, happy kids happy dogs happy caravaners.

Such a Beautiful Place

Such a beautiful place..just come home after a fabulous 2 weeks stay. The site has everything you could wish for.. besides being kept so pristine it has very spacious pitches..a very large field for dog walking..Ideal for our 3 dogs.. the swimming pool and hot tub great added extras the small fee is well worth it. Ideally situated to visit. Bude..Boscastle..Port Issac..Padstow..Bodmin.. Newquay..we also went to St Ives just over 1 hour away.. Would find it extremely hard to find a better site than this with the facilities we had at the price we paid.. ..

Venndown just perfect

What a stunning CL, very spacious and peaceful, toilets and shower were very clean for the 2 weeks we were there. The swimming pool and hot tub are a real bonus and well worth the daily fee, another bonus on site is the very large dog walking field. Theres plenty of nice places to visit Boscastle and Tintagel are only 10 minutes away, Newquay and Bude are only 30 minutes away. We cannot reccomend this site high enough as it was perfect in our eyes and we loved every minute of our stay a big thanks to Camilla and family for the hard work you put in to this beautiful site.

Couldn't be a better CL

We have just returned from a wonderful week's stay at this fabulous CL. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Everything is immaculately maintained. Very spacious pitches which may require levelling blocks, excellent facilities, free wifi, huge dog exercise area, 2 toilets/washrooms, showers (£1 for 10 minutes) plus the added bonus of a heated swimming pool & hot tub (£3 per day). The site is located perfectly to explore this area of Cornwall. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone. Fabulous CL

As others have pointed out - this is a fabulous CL with the added bonus of an indoor swimming pool and a brilliant on- site dog walk. Large spacious pitches (choice of grass or hard standing) with Tintagel & Boscastle only 3 or 4 miles away. Only slight negative (and it's very, very slight) there's a B road running alongside the site so a little traffic noise is heard. However, I did see buses running along this B road, but didn't use them. Beautiful part of our country with great walking and cycling from the site with beautiful beaches not far away. Good eateries in the towns mentioned where there's something for everyone. Like a Cornish cream tea - this site (like the cream) is on the top of many people's list - it's not difficult to see why.

Fab site

Have stayed on this perfect site for two weeks and can honestly say we couldn't fault it. We had a serious amount of rain whilst here but the site even coped well with that. The site is immaculate from the grass to the shower area and is easy to access north Cornwall attractions.

Superb doesn't capture this CL

Absolutely immaculate from grass cutting to cleanliness of toilets and shower. Recycling well ordered and chemical disposal point with flush. The dog walking area was out of action as fences were being repaired but helpfully we were provided with alternative exercise area for our lame Border Collie. This is the best CL we have used and cannot suggest anything that would improve it. As we don't live far away we look forward to returning. Alyson
