Unsophisticated but perfect

This site may not look extravagant, but it doesn't need to be as it has many plus points: it's fantastically quiet despite being close to Sizewell B - we didn't really notice much traffic noise even at shift change; it is 50m from miles of open beach and dunes, so it's perfect for dog owners; the pub is great (although beware - the owners now shut Tuesday and Wednesday) with really good homecooked meals and we found the owners very friendly and accommodating. We walked to Aldeburgh (where a helpful fish seller cooked a lobster for us to pick up on the way back) and another day drove to Sutton Hoo for more dog walks and a spot of history. But the location was the best bit by far.
