We just spent five nights at Waghorns in early April. Despite lots of rain just before we arrived at the site, being at the top of a hill the pitches had drained well and were totally usable. Definitely a good site to visit for a grass pitch in the rainier months. Site is very well maintained and in a picturesque location with lots of walking and cycling down quiet country lanes nearby. Bewel water is only a couple of miles away. The owners Sandra and Martin are very welcoming and helpful, overall a great site.
