Stayed on this site and found the grass to be a little long but not really a problem.
Our main complaint is that the driveway into the farm is quite narrow but the Hawthorn hedges either side are overgrown and completely scratched our brand new caravan! Windows and paintwork.
The driveway is a little uneven but by going slowly didn't present any problems.
Would love to re-visit this site but not without my petrol hedgecutter!.
We have thoroughly enjoyed staying at Walkeridge Farm CL. It was very easy to find, although the last quarter mile was on a single track driveway with no passing places, with a couple of shallow pot holes that were easily avoided
On entering the field, the grass was no more than 4 inches long so no problem.
There is only one electric point, with six sockets on it. Being used to camping in France and at a multitude of other CL's in this country we always carry two electric leads so this was a no problem.
There is a small WC which was kept clean, with fresh flowers in the window.
The views from the site were stunning!
Next door is a small grass strip, and a couple of times we were able to see a small plane taking off towing a glider.
If you want a basic site that is very peaceful this could be for you!
im afraid when we arrived at this site we were very disappointed the grass was very long very potholed track to site one electric post on the edge of the field with all the points on so the other 4 vans were plugged in and we could not reach the points so we left without pitching up we would not recommend this site
