Great location, could be easily improved with a bit of effort

Site consists of grassed area with four pitches and an area of hardstanding being the fifth pitch. We pitched on the hard standing. Great views and good walks directly from the site. I did think the water and refuse area was untidy at the time, bins were full and were not emptied. The Elsan disposal point is a bit of a walk up a slight slope which one elderly couple did say they found difficult. The shower facility and toilet was dirty and very tired, I would suggest the owner removes this from the facility list or refurbs, personally not an issue for us as we used the vans shower. The site has 5 star potential by its location but let down slightly by the scruffy appearance. That said I would still return.

Rural and peaceful CL

Second time of staying at this peaceful and rural CL. The site is set on a hillside with great views. There is some toing and froing as the site is next to a woodcraft business, but this adds to the ambiance. The owner is very friendly and made us welcome. There are basic toilet and shower facilities on site. Would visit again.

Stunning views

There a four pitches suitable for caravans on beautifully kept rolling meadow. One hard standing suitable for motorhome. The beauty of this site are the rolling hills and woods seen across the valley, The owner runs woodcraft courses on site and it is sometimes possible to see the work being done such as using pole lathes to make chair legs. Getting to the site from the main road would be quite difficult in a caravan as there is a long climb up a single track road, but worth the effort when you get there.
