Peace and Tranquility

We rang up on speck as we were passing through and needed a site for the night. Even though it was sort notice we were greeted with a warm welcome. It was dark when we arrived so imagine our surprise and delight when we looked out onto such a beautiful view. We took the dogs for a walk through the forest, it felt tranquil and remote just how we like it. It has everything you need in a basic site which is what we usually go for, and has the bonus of EHU and a shower. On arriving home I looked into the website more and would definitely return and love to try one of the courses on offer. Thank You Ste + Fiona Chippendale

Very peaceful site in lovely surroundings.

This is a very peaceful site situated amid lovely countryside and scenery. There are good walks from the site and easy access to the Offa's Dyke path. Rod and the team were very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely visit again!

Peaceful, welcoming and remote

This site was an amazing find, small extremely peaceful and set in a beautiful remote part of the world. Facilities are basic but clean. The pitches are set amongst newly plated and mature trees all part of the work the Woodland Skills Centre do. I couldn't recommend this site enough to those who prefer the wilder side of camping/caravanning.

Great Value for Money

This was a very welcoming site with beautiful views, the site was well kept with facilities which were basic but clean. For £10 per night this is well worth the money and we will be returning for a second visit.

Excellent - have visited many times

This is definitely our first choice of CL sites in this area and we have visited many times. The site has been improved in the last couple of years with a new toilet/shower room installed . The countryside around the site is beautiful and it is a very peaceful location. The only negative is that it is a bit of a hike to the toilet waste facility but this is to be upgraded soon. The owner Mr Waterfield is friendly and always helpful. At £10 per night I think this site is amazing value. It is within an easy drive of Denbigh and St Asaph and there are lots of lovely villages nearby. It is great walking country too. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when visiting Denbighshire. My only hesitancy in giving this 5 out of 5 is that I don't want it to be booked up when I want to visit again!!! Lindsey and Harry Vernon
