Wonderful weekend with the buffalo!

Easily accessible location. Very warm welcome from friendly and accommodating owner. Lovely views and easy access to many local attractions. Weather was wonderful! Some road noise from A37 but this did not detract from a lovely weekend. You must sample the ice cream and buffalo burgers from the farm shop on site. Very tasty!! Will certainly visit again.

A Great CL

I spent four nights here. Access is good, with a warm welcome. The site is lawned, spacious, and very tidy. Each twin hook-up point has a tap and a drain for grey water. Elsan disposal is at the rear of the farm buildings at the entrance, not on the site itself. Close to the disposal point is a WC which (to steal a phrase from Homes Under The Hammer) is fitted out to a very high specification and was spotless. There are recycling facilities on site which are the best I've seen on any site, even leaving club main sites standing. Prior to my stay I was concerned about the proximity of the A37 both from the issue of traffic noise, and possible difficulty in turning right out of the site, both solo and especially with caravan. Both concerns were groundless. All in all, a peaceful site and a good base for enjoying what the local area of South Somerset and North Dorset has to offer, with the south coast about 40 minutes drive away. I came away with water buffalo burgers but have yet to sample them.

Excellent C.L.

A superb level site with bags of space. Situated away from the farm and easy to get to the owners were friendly and very helpful. We could only see the buffalo in the distance but we enjoyed the buffalo steaks and beefburgers. We will certainly be visiting again

First class CL - the Water Buffalo are friendly and the ice cream is exquisite!

A first class CL. Tony, the owner, could not have been more welcoming, nor could the Water Buffalo! The farm produced water buffalo meat range and milk is available in the farm shop, as is the ice cream. Haven't tried the burgers and sausages we purchased - keeping them for home BBQ, but the ice cream is delicious. The grassed site is fairly level with good access and all the facilities we required. The views are pleasant and the Water Buffalo come and go in the adjacent fields. Peaceful and quiet. Thank you Tony.
