Lovely Site

Stay June 2013. It did remind us of the 'Darlings Buds of May' and then we found out that quite a lot of the filming had been done in the village or nearby. The site is very well kept and the owners very friendly. We did not experience traffic noise or even noise from the school which is in front of the site. At school start and finish times the traffic was awful and leaving the site solo was difficult. Really good dog walks in the nearby 'orchards' accessible by the public footpaths. The site does give uninterrupted views of The Weald and the iconic oast houses. We would stay here again. The 3 stars for the ease of arrival/welcome is only for the very narrow entrance and not the welcome from the owners who went 'the extra mile'.
