Have just stayed here after picking up new van from highbridge.Followed directions from book, and spot on.Approach roads are little narrow in places,so be cautious. We're shown our pitch, and told to get sorted before paying.Nice flat good sized pitch with water to each one.Country views all round, and sheep opposite. As we have dogs were pleased to find good walks, and plenty of dog bins.Bonus of small warm toilet block opposite entrance.Exspect some noise from motorway, which is close. But all in all were made welcome, and this is a peaceful spot in great area.Lots to do and see,and gave us time to get used to our new toy before a long drive home.Would stay again.

Convenient stopover
If visiting this site, use the directions supplied and not your sat nav. We did the former and they were spot on.
The lady who welcomed us was very nice.
There seemed to be some building work going on there when we arrived but this did not intrude upon the stay.
The CL is on the left as you enter and all pitches are large, with well drained gravel. This was excellent as there had been a considerable amount of rain. Sheep are in the field opposite.
There are toilets in the site adjacent to the CL, don't know whether one is supposed to use them, though they are bit old, but welcome.
We were using the site to take our van for service at Highbridge Caravans and will use it again for this purpose.
It would equally be a useful stopover when travelling to Cornwall.
Good value as well
A fantastic stopover site close to the M5
We had booked the CC site at Tewkesbury to arrive on Sat 7th July, unfortunately on the Friday evening, the site called to say they were on flood alert, as we were using this as a stopover for a couple of nights en-route to Cornwall, I had to book another site that evening, which is how we stumbled on this CL site, (first CL site we have stayed on) and I would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone, Margaret the site owner was lovely, pitches were all of a great standard, being hardstanding with electric AND water points directly on each pitch, 1 shower, which was nice and hot, although there was a bit of a queue on a morning, there was slight road noise, but what else would you expect when looking for a site close to a major motorway, HUGE eggs for sale by owner, and delicious too, I would recommend this not just for a stopover, but for an actual base for a holiday, if you don't have youngsters to entertain. Would highly recommend The Brent Knoll pub which is a short drive away, we have eaten at this pub two years in a row, and food is lovely. Close to Attractions such as the Cheddar Gorge, Burnham on Sea, Thatchers Brewery, etc etc.
