A credit to the club

Everything a CL should be, quiet, terrific views, ridiculasly cheap at 11 pounds. Great pubs in every direction. It's really wonderful discovering a CL such as this one, wish I had found it years ago. Yorkshire is just brilliant, come here and I challenge you to disagree. A true gem, reminds me of a farm I worked on in Limoges, France

Great Views

Just returned from a visit to this site, the views are to die for in and around the area. Only a short dive to the local village or 10 mins to Masam for good pub food. The site is on a small slope but no problems. One small draw back the Elsan and bin area needs some TLC. Very friendly owners. First time in this area no problem with the roads you just drive at a reasonable speed.

Very Nice!

Lovely site in an excellent location a 4 mile drive to Ripon and Fountain's Abbey.Very quiet and peaceful with the most FANTASTIC sunsets and views.2 pubs within a 20 minute walk and some EXCELLENT walks for your dog right on the doorstep. If I have to be picky is that there is one pitch on the site that is quiet sloped and we were on that pitch but this is really NOT a problem at all. Very friendly owners and they even have an "internet shed!.Highly recommended!

Good site

Nice site with good views and well kept. I do agree with the previous review some of the local drivers are idiots.

A Peaceful Haven

A lovely quiet site situated in wonderful conutryside. It was lovely being pitched overlooked the sheep with their lambs just over the fence. The site is well placed to visit plenty of interesting places. Owners were very welcoming. The local butchers is fantastic! You do certainly need to follow the directions in the site book rather than following your satnav, our satnave wanted to send us down a road signed "unsuitable for caravans" and conseqeuntly we had to take quite a circuitous route. Coming out the right way was much easier!

Beautiful Site

West Leas is a favourite site of ours, a relaxing site in beautiful surroundings. We normally approach from Kirkby Malzeard village and have never had any problems. The site is located on a working farm, great to see all the animals around you we were fortunate on our last visit to see baby calves with their mums in the fields. Kirkby Malzeard village is nearby and within walking distance, with a great butchers selling everything you ever need. A convenience store and petrol station can also be found and the local pub also does a great takeaway curry. Lots to do for all ages locally, only minutes away from Lightwater Valley, a stroll and a pint in one of the local breweries. Hackfall in nearby Grewthorpe for a walk and and a picnic. The villages and towns of Ripon, Harrogate, North Allerton and Masham are only a short drive away. Well worth a visit!

The very first time out with a caravan... West Leas Farm

A very picturesque little site close to the farm buildings, the pitch is a gentle slope requiring the minimum of adjustment. This is my very first time out with a caravan having been a seasoned camper of 30 odd years but so far I'm enjoying the experience down mainly to this lovely hassle free site. On the cautionary side it is worth mentioning that the road from Ripon to West Leas Farm is an undulating single track with passing places and Kamikaze local drivers so take care whilst towing in and out.
