A bad year, weather wise.

This was a busy site, 10 vans the whole time. It rained constantly and the flat ground had no chance to drain, there was standing water - huge puddles in the grass. The owner had to tow off two vans with his 4x4 while we were there, and we were pushed off when we left.
We cut our stay short because off the weather and trying to cope with two dogs in the mud.
The local pub was friendly with reasonable food.
Lots of places to visit nearby, the countryside is lovely.
