Tranquility again in Norfolk

We have visited this delightful CL again twice this summer – in mid July and mid September. On both occasions there was only one other unit on the site, the grass was cut short (with the clippings collected) – and we were lucky with the weather. Although the site is overall slightly sloping (and well-drained), there are a number of level areas if this is of concern. There is a lovely outlook across neighbouring farmland, and we were treated to some spectacular East Anglian sunsets, as the field faces directly west. The hedge and trees on the eastern boundary of the site give excellent protection from easterly winds, but the slightly elevated position of the CL means it is more exposed to westerlies. This is an excellent base for visiting attractions along the North Norfolk coast, including Wells-next-the-Sea and Blakeney, particularly as there is a network of lanes allowing you to travel east-west without using the rather busy (and narrow in places) A149 coast road. So, from our perspective, if you are not fussed about an EHU connection, this is one of the best CLs close to the North Norfolk coast.
