Just spent 4 nights at this CL and was disappointed at the condition of the shower room. It is obvious that it has not had a good clean for some while, the container for used paper towels was not emptied during that period and there was no toilet roll for the last 2 days. On the positive side it has a very effective electric shower but with a little effort and attention it could be so much better.

Many thanks for leaving a review and we are sorry to hear that you did not feel the facilities were up to the usual high standard members have come to expect and appreciate on this CL Site. The owner apologised at the time of your stay but regrets not giving you a full explanation as to the situation. Her son, who helps run the CL Site, was very ill in hospital at the time of your stay. Unfortunately during a very stressful and worrying time, the normal high standards had slipped and she apologises that this affected the enjoyment of your stay on site. Having happy customers is really important to the Site owner and they work hard to continuously make improvements to the site to ensure people have a wonderful time when staying here. During the last month they have created a large pond on site, and are looking forward to an exciting period as new wildlife move in to join their resident barn owl and kestrels.
