We live about 30 mins drive from this site and are always on the lookout for a value for money CL that is close to where we live. We are really pleased that we spotted this one. The owners gave us a very warm and friendly welcome and helped us to pick a good spot to site our van. The whole site is flat so levelling is minimal and very easy. There is a drinking water point, rubbish bin, glass recycling and toilet waste disposal. There were plenty of dog walks around the area and lots of shopping at Consett. Overall, this was a lovely, quiet site and we will be back.
