Ideal CL to explore local area

Stayed here during the COVID-19 situation, received all necessary safety information prior to arriving and managed to speak to the lovely owner while socially distancing. The site is well maintained with gravelled hard standings. It’s ideally situated for visiting local beaches either by car or, as we did by pedal cycle. It’s ideal if you want a quiet get away or need to entertain the family with sandy beaches One I’ll return to.

What a Gem

Just arrived home from a 3 night peaceful stay at White Hart Cottage, due to the current Covid situation arrangements ie booking, arrival and departure were all made easy. A gem of a site with easy access with our twin axle caravan. Very well kept site and ideal location for discovering the beautiful Welsh coast. Would definitely recommend this site. Many thanks to Jan. Richard

2nd Visit and still enjoying the site.

We have stayed on this CL for 2 yrs running, and found the hosts very pleasant, and full of information (if you want it). 5 Well kept bays, all hard standing, with grass to the side. Very easy site to access, ideal for motorhomes.

Exceptional Value!!

Booked at the last minute for four nights and communication by email with the owner was very straightforward. Easy access from a quiet B road onto five level hardstanding pitches situated in a circle (one pitch slightly narrower than the others). Good views down the valley but site sheltered from the wind by banking. EHU, recycling on site, information hut, toilet and wash basin and a great meadow at the back to let the dogs have a run round in - all this for £10 a night. Really friendly owner who let you get on with things but was there if needed. Not much direct walking from the site but beaches about two miles away and other places of interest easily accessible by with own transport. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent CL

I can only agree with what has already been said! Easy access, even for large outfits, good size pitches, well laid out water, waste and toilet emptying, and a useful WC with WHB. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts, and excellent information folders available. Lots of places to visit, good shopping not far away. Some road noise, but it did not really bother us as the road was not busy overnight.

A lovely little site.

For those, like us, who like quiet basic sites with no fuss and lovely, helpful but laid back hosts White Hart Cottage fits the bill. With just a 15-20 min drive to visit the puffins at Skomer this was just what we needed. I was able to go and wait in the queue at 6.30 am and then return to the site for breakfast and to collect the family for the 12.00 sailing which I'd chosen. A wonderful day ensued. There are also numerous excellent beaches and places of interest close by and Jan has all the information you could wish for in her tidy site cabin with toilet and wash facilities attached. We had a very enjoyable week there at the beginning of June and will definitely use this CL again in the future. Many thanks to Jan for her help and advice and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Pleasent stay

We spent 4 nights here and we found it to be very pleasent site, And as we were visiting relatives in Haverfordwest which is a short distance away. The beaches in the area were very good . We enjoyed a long walk with the dog on them. The site also has a small dog walk on the site and an area to play for children and dogs , but should be aware that there are sheep in the fields next door.

Excellent little CL

This is a lovely, very well maintained CL. The water/waste/rubbish facilities are well placed and clean and tidy. The toilet and information room are a great bonus. All pitches are hard standing and the bank behind the site gives good shelter from the wind. The coast walking in the area is excellent as is the coastal bus service. Skomer is well worth a visit, but go early for tickets. We were in the queue by 7.15 and came back to the site for breakfast before returning for the 11 o'clock ferry. This seemed to work well for us. We would definitely recommend this CL.

We booked this site for it’s proximity to dog friendly beaches after discovering that St David’s beach had a dog ban May to September. We usually use club sites and have only tried C.L. sites a couple of times. Well after using this site we will be changing our habits. The site is easy to find, accessible to big units, (we have a motor home and tow a car) the pitches are well spaced, the hook up is 16amp, the hardstandings are relatively level and there is a toilet and wash basin on site. Very good value and no little extras for dogs, awnings, hook up etc. The dogs loved the field to run and chase a ball in and adored Broad Haven sands which is only a couple of miles away. The site is a great base from which to explore Pembrokeshire, and the information room definitely lives up to it’s name, a big thank you to Jan for that. We will be back as there is so much more for us to do in the area.

Good base

Good size pitches, a wealth of info provided by Jan. The site is in a great location for visiting all the places of interest. The coastal path walks are fantastic, breathtaking views, local beaches are lovely and only a few are not dog friendly or have partial dog babs. The only complaint I would have about this site is the road noise, although it is just bearable. Overall a great base and we had a very enjoyable week here! Thanks Jan!
