not worth the price

Used this site recently when on a visit to Daventry, lovely scenery on the canal bank, but the site was not level, the facilities are primitive to say the least, the owner does not visit the site and wants the money posted through his door in an envelope, difficult if you dont have an envelope. There is only one water point high up on the site which makes it difficult for a motorhome, no waste water emptying facilities. For £14 per night it is vastly overpriced. We spoke to a regular who told us that the fees used to be £7 without electric, so a hike of £7 with the power is a bit steep. The owner also charges £2 perday for fishing even though the canal belongs to British waterways. A total rip off, needless to say we will give this one a wide berth. Would not recommend. The owner is a Greedy man.
