Manicured Perfection

The quality care that the owners, Abrahams and Aiesha, have applied to this site is immediately apparent from the professionally printed sign at the entrance - with signage across the site thus exemplified. Wide entrance leading to a perfect gravel drive leading in turn to each hard standing pitch - superb pitch quality with water, drainage and electricity to each pitch - each service column lit by PIR cells. The site benefits from solar lights with Abraham an advocate of off-grid. His experience of solar panels for off-grid caravanning is well worth exploring. We chose this site as a four day trial with our new van - already in love with our van this site was a perfect location. Two toilets and a shower are a stunning feature for any CL but the quality here is superb. Abraham was on hand offering help and guidance freely. The birds were a little shy of my feeder but the rabbits on site were a delight obviously not aware of the patrolling barn owl. A short stroll way is the oldest working windmill in the country; open to the public on Saturdays, Dusty Millar gave us his time to explore many features of the mill. We also enjoyed Idle Valley nature reserve when we managed to tear ourselves from our BBQ - Abraham provides picnic benches and tables. Willow Beck Retreat - a superbly apt name for this exquisite site.
