canalside location
This was a basic site with no facilities as we expected from the listing. Good value for money as it was an ideal stopover quite near to M6 and M55. There was a slight hum of road noise from these motorways but it wasn't intrusive.
We walked down the canal in the afternoon as it was adjacent to the field.
From our booking telephone call we knew the owner would be out on the day of our arrival so as instructed we pitched up and caught up with him the next day to pay our £5.
Overall - an ideal CL for our needs on our route to Scotland.
