All alone on Windy Ridge

What a great spot. What good value for money. 3/4 of an acre all to ourselves. Pitch anywhere, park any way round you like. Feel free to move the picnic tables. Who needs more. Windy Ridge, yes the clue is in the name, but our awning survived a F5. A long hose and 25m power cable meant domestics were easy. Yes, the approach is fun. I drive a 4.5 ton Kon Tiki and we made it without modifying the wing mirrors. Access into the field is no problem. There is occasional, faint noise from the A38 if the wind is from the wrong direction but it is certainly not intrusive. Half a mile down the lane is Ugborough with 2 good pubs. We ate at The Anchor this time and will certainly go back - very hospitable. BBQ out 2 nights and watched the cows come in daily for their milking. Wouldn't want to be a farmer but great to watch. What a find - please leave it all to us.
