We spent 3 night here based on the good reviews, sadly we were disappointed. The owner did not explain where things were and when we eventually found the drinking water tap on the shower/toilet hut we then realised that it was next to the chemical waste disposal and that no separate tap was provided for rinsing out of the toilet. The only rubbish bins were down at the main house ( where major building works were being carried out) to which the builders had laid claim to, and we ended up taking our rubbish out with us each day to find disposal of elsewhere. The major problem however we encountered was the electric tripping ALL the time to which needed a constant trip to the electric box. We by no means regard ourselves high electricity users and even cooking a meal proved a challenge. The site in general was quite scruffy looking (not just because of the building work I might add) and there is some noise from the nearby roads. It must be noted too that the driveway in, is also quite a steep one . On the plus side we found it a good location for Blackpool etc.. and the hardstandings were good and good tv /mobile reception. Good potential, but desperately needs some attention.
