Enjoyable two night stay

Short visit to area for 2 nights mid August. Very easy to find, just off A59, entrance up a steep slope but not a problem. Hard standings are quite large & plenty of room between them, levelling blocks needed on pitch 3,4 & 5. EHU for each pitch and a small toilet room in the area reserved for the CL, didn't use this so cannot comment. Walk into Whalley approx 20mins and if you want bus to Clitheroe (M2 or M22), these can be caught in Whalley. If you like a drop of good beer, I would recommend the bus to Clitheroe & visit Holmes Mill (Bowland Brewery) which is the longest bar in England with 42 hand pumps. The food was very good. Overall the CL was good value at £14 per night and we will certainly come back.
