Stayed here recently and was greeted by the owner George, who was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The site is behind a setting of garden ornaments which are created by George and a friend and the whole site is a credit to him and what he is creating...a labour of love is going in to this quirky project. The vision he has is inspiring and I can't wait to go back to see the end result is a few years time... There is definitely an air of tranquility and would make a lovely setting for weddings or spa's!!! George even booked us a table at the pub and dropped us and picked us back up later that night, you definitely don't get that very often these days... Please give this site a go, the price is really good at £18 per night for a motorhome, the toilet is basic and there will be a shower block in the future. Electric hook up and TV reception is good. Keep an open mind and enjoy the surroundings... it really grows on you. George has a real passion for Wonderland, and its lovely to see that its not always about everything in perfect order its more about enjoying the environment.
