A Wonderful Place to Stay

We recently stayed at this lovely site for 4 nights. Kathy and Joe are warm, friendly and helpful people and their site is immaculate - what a find! The site itself looks across to the Mendip hills rising behind it so the views are great. We became weather experts as we watched the clouds rolling along the hills, forming mist and disappearing from view depending on the weather daily. Fascinating. The site is perfectly kept - clean cut grass, neat trimmed hedges, immaculate shower and toilet facility, excellent waste and water areas, small dog walking area and poo bin (all kept very clean) and very wide spacing between pitches. My wife managed to nearly destroy our wash basin when we stayed and Kathy immediately offered contact numbers for caravan repairers who could come out and fix it. Nothing was too much trouble. Kathy and Joe have put their heart into this site and it really shows! You were right about those little dark red apples Joe - they were delicious and thank you for sharing them! Our only concern when we were about to leave was whether our Honda CRV could manage the slight slope of the site (we'd had a bit of a hairy stay in the Peak District on a very steep site previously - and with a different vehicle). Despite having lots of heavy rain during our stay and being on wet grass and pitching in the furthest, lowest point of the site - there was no problem at all!! Joe had already assessed we'd be OK so again thought had gone into our stay with them. Thank you Kathy and Joe for a wonderful few days!
