We only stayed for one night and it was very much a quick visit but the site exceeded our expectations. Marilyn was very welcoming and explained that we could walk our dog around the grounds. We wandered along the daffodil walk to the lake which was a real beauty spot. We later walked into Claverly and had a lovely meal in The Plough where we met some welcoming locals and chatted the night away. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a peaceful, rural get away. We really enjoyed our stay and it was just what we looking for (we like quiet sites, in rural locations, away from the hustle and bustle). Alfie, our Irish Setter also had a great time and Marilyn was very welcoming of him too.
