Once again!

Time off is very important to us and the fact that this site is only 2 hours away is brilliant. We have stayed at this site many times now and have enjoyed all of them. Its a pity you can't utilise the late arrivals area during the day you leave so you could spend one more day in London. Be off the pitch early and out of the late arrivals by 1800/1900 even if this cost £10 for the half day. Just an idea. Thank you to the staff for a good week.

Fantastic site

We stayed at the site for 4 nights over the New Year. This is my second visit to the site and I am beginning to think that this could be my favourite site on the network. The wardens are fantastic, hard working, cheerful and friendly. They keep the site in superb condition and are a credit to the C.C. The resident parrots are unique example of the wild life at the park. I don't really want to go on much more about the site as I won't be able to get booked in the future.Found out for yourself.

Excellent

We spent New Year at Abbey Wood from 28/12/14 - 1/1/15. As usual the reception was friendly and welcoming. The site it well maintained and you could indeed, be anywhere in the UK. The fact that the station is a short walk away appeals to the tourists and offers an excellent service into the city.

Ideal for visits to London

We have just spent Christmas at this site.  It's a site so very close to facilities and yet it was teeming with wildlife.  A five minute walk to the station and armed with an Oyster card it's easy to get into the centre of London.  Trains run very frequently.  The bus stop is just around the corner if that mode of transport suits you better.  There are numerous walks available. The Green Chain walks link the green areas around London and again a five minute walk gets you into these waymarked walks.  Easy to cycle down to the Thames Path and then on into London centre.  Lovely clean and spacious showers and toilets.  All in all a great site, well worth visiting and even though it's in the LEZ it's worth checking online if you are exempt.
