Abbey Wood-quiet & wild life
Excellent camp site, we followed the recommended route and signs to get there, there are a lot of speed bumps on the suggested route, but expected as the site is in a urban area. The site itself is tranquil, interupted by the wild parakeets that seem to flourish there. Squirrels are also a common site.
Easy access to the railway station, and retail shopping at Lakeside. The onsite facilities were superb and the freindly wardens were exceptional, a credit to our club.
