A real shame to hear this, along with the other reviews.  We often come here for weekend breaks as its only 40 mins from home and used to be a lovely tranquil site to relax on even if you don't want to go off site.

We are booked to arrive tomorrow evening for 6 nights and now really quite apprehensive and somewhat nervous about our stay.   We have been visiting the site for over 9 years but it sounds like we might need to swerve this site going forwards.  It'll be our second trip out with our brand new touring caravan (4th one over almost 10 yrs) so we are still trying it out but now will be more vigilant than ever if the situation with the traveller community persists.

I fully appreciate the club needs to be inclusive and promote diversity amongst its members but regardless of this if members are blatantly breaking site rules, such as speeding, littering and excessive noise during the evenings then whatever your background and upbringing you still need to be respectful of others and the environment.

We usually pick a hardstanding pitch in the lower sections of the site around pitch no.67 ish, hoping we can find some peace and tranquillity during our break......

We booked 3 nights coming this Friday but after reading reviews and being unable at short notice to find an alternative site, I cancelled Friday and we are only coming for 2 nights. As NSum we live an hour away and have enjoyed our stays here before. This will be our third visit. 

We are now really apprehensive and feel the wardens should have more power to tackle antisocial behaviour. I really hope they have left by the time we arrive but have to be open minded.

It is a shame as we were really looking forward to our holiday but now I'm not so sure.
