Well kept and very tidy
We stayed here for 4 nights from 6th Feb (Sat) with friends in two motor-homes.Very friendly welcome from wardens and we got the last two pitches next to each other 30 and 31. Papers can be ordered for delivery to the site on a daily basis.
The facilities were very clean and cleaning times suited us fine. Our pitch 31 is very close to the storage compound entry which was very busy over the time we stayed and became a tad annoying (its probably the only pitch that would even be aware of the comings and goings)
A short walk gets you into Ashwell which is pretty and has village shops but no large store/supermarket. The Rose and Crown is dog friendly and does good meals we had dinner there but they also do lunches.
Good walks from the site which made our first trip away with our new Border Collie pup much easier to handle as she became acquainted with MH life.
A lovely small site and would recommend....just avoid pitch 31 if coming and goings get on your nerves.
