March 2015 visit
Spent three nights at the site in March 2015. The site is easy to find and in an excellent location. It is just a few minutes walk from the centre of town, with easy access to shops and the seafront.
The site itself was very clean and the staff very friendly.There were two of us and a dog. Excellent dog walk along the river going out of town (starting just outside the site). Took a long walk south along the seafront and beach on one of the days. On another, walked to Troon and got the train back. Would definitely recommend this site. There is plenty to do within the town itself, there are many places of interest within a short drive and there are some good walking areas close by.
