So after lots of searching we got a cancellation of 5 nights at Baltic Wharf - well worth the wait. The site is easy to find if you follow the directions in the handbook. We got the only pitch available with our late booking so it was an awning pitch even though we weren't going to be putting up an awning so we had good space in the little cul de sac area. Sadly it was under some trees & it rained every night that we were there so we got the constant drip drip on our roof. The facilities block was clean & tidy & even though the site was full there was never any queuing or waiting. The relief wardens were there during our 5 day stay & they were very friendly & helpful. What this site has is the excellent location & we will try to book in again in the summer months so that we can hopefully enjoy some dry weather & long summer evenings along the waterfront. We took our bikes but due to the constant rain didn't get to try many of the cycle rides direct from the site ( I had downloaded the routes) We loved the water taxi into the city from outside the site. All in all a nice compact site - that is in a fab location.
