Baltic Wharf in the rain

We had tried to get on this site on many occasions, but to no avail. However, we managed to get on in September 2019. We selected a pitch against a wall with apartments the other side. It was fine ......and good job we did park up there with no trees, as the rain & wind was awful for the majority of the time. Toilet/shower block was clean and well maintained .......just not enough of them - even though the site was small, it could do with a couple more. There was work going on in the block, which put them out of service a lot longer than usual. Something one has to put up with for necessary maintenance. The location of the site is excellent for visiting Bristol .........the City Centre is walkable along the Wharf in 30 mins. Clifton Suspension Bridge the same. Staff were very helpful, and offered advice as and when. The location is somewhat unique, as you are effectively on an island, between the Wharf, and River Avon. Loads to see & do on your doorstep ........boat rides, museums, shopping, eating, drinking. Shame this site is on borrowed time due to the Council wanting to take it .......just hope the Club find another replacement site as handily placed as this one. We are in Bristol quite often, visiting my partners son, and we usually stay in Hotels ......this was the first time we managed to get in and book it !!
