Booked months in advance as difficult site to get into. Well worth it the two days we stayed here. Turned up on a baking hot day but because site is mostly set on gravel & walled in, not much breeze to cool you down. Not a worry for us as the weather changed to wet, wet, wet. Easily get ferry & a boat trip directly through gate onto the river. Love Bristol anyway but what really made it for us and family was the Shaun the Sheep trail, searching for some of the 70 decorated sheep scattered around the city for charity. Every place should have them, as made walking around more fun. Lots more to see & do here. Wardens cheerful & helpful.
