A beautiful site with a luxurious toilet/shower block. However , on closer inspection there are advisory notices everywhere indicating how you (especially your dog ) should behave whilst on site. Fair enough as site wardens do like to have control but sadly it went too far on our third day there. Our motorhome wheel accidentally clipped the gravel board between the hand standing and grass verge resulting in minor damage. The board was pushed upright with a split but the adjacent grass/gravel was still intact . We were apologetic but the duty warden was not happy and told us in no uncertain terms that when we are ready to leave the next day (our departure), we must inform him at reception so that we can be supervised manoeuvring off the pitch. How humiliating!. Needles to say , we slipped away early unnoticed - my wife decided it was her turn to drive off the pitch and had no intention of allowing anybody supervising her. She is , after all a qualified driving instructor!
