As complete newbies to the whole caravan world we had no understanding or expectations of what to expect on this or any site until now….. Battle Normanhurst has now become our benchmark so other sites have a lot to live up too. We only stayed for four nights and while the weather was grim at times we did manage a BBQ and a trip to Catsfield along the footpath through the Normanhurst Estate. The walk is perfect for twitcher’s and kids to see the farm animals along the 1 mile of so path before you reach the The White Hart for a well earned drink and some delish lunch. The whole site is a delight there are pitches hidden away for those wanting some alone time with some pitches that just allows your imagination to wander back in history at the grandeur of the walled gardens. As newbies arriving a little nervous Karen and her husband (apologies for not recalling your name memory not as good these days) were welcoming and extremely friendly, as we were directed to our pitch other members of the staff on site mirrored the welcoming and assisted in the whole setting up making the whole arrival and setting up on our pitch relaxing and less stressful. We would trust and ask that the powers that be will congratulate the whole team on a job well done with a smile and a happy friendly approach. We thank you all
