Just Didn't Gel

I can't put my finger on why, but I just didn't enjoy this site as much as others. It's obviously very popular, we arrived around 14:00 and had to queue as there were 4 vans ahead. Due to the popularity we were limited on pitch choice.  Depending on where you are the train can be very noticeable as can the locals walking around the outside of the site after a 'good' night out. The lack of play area means there can be children playing outside your van, something I accept but at 6:30 in the morning it's a little early. It's about a 30 minute walk to Berwick via the working port, so not the most beautiful strole. The local beach was nice enough and allows dogs which is both a positive and negative. I guess with children you need to be more poop aware.  The local M&S food hall and Halfords are a 5 min car trip. The showers were clean, but often a queue as the site is so busy.  Overall for me the view of the sea just didn't lift it above 'average'
