The only CC-campsite of the 10 we visited in May/June were the staff member who checked us in, did not know which pitches have more shadow then others. That surprised us. Another staff member helped us very well when we asked for information about visiting Canterbury by bus. The bus stop is 70 metres from the campsite, costs 14 pounds per person and is less then half an hour. One evening it was very windy and cold. Used by many as a stopp over from/to ferry or channel, but we heard nothing of that during the night or early morning and our pitch was nearby the ferry pitches.
