First time here. Second time in our motorhome

New to the motorhome world so this review is based on how this compared with the other site we stayed at in the Cotswolds a couple of weeks earlier. First mistake we made was that we got it wrong when choosing our pitch (I didn't comprehend the rules around the different coloured posts!) so we had the shame of having to move. Then, having identified the best pitch available we then found we were sharing the area with a wasp nest so had to move a third time. We now see it is a bit of a lottery securing the plot you want and found ourselves looking at other campers through envious eyes as they had pitches that were basking in the sunshine compared with our shaded pitch. Dog walk area was tiny and led no-where. We had to do lots of our own research and found a local wood around 1/2 mile away. You can't really walk anywhere as the road to the neighbouring areas was along a busy road. If there was a way to get into the adjoining field from the site that would be great for walks. I appreciate everyone wants something different from their time away but for us its all about being able to go for a leisurely dog walk and for us it didn't quite offer that. The facilities themselves were fine and the Village store directly opposite the site was well stocked and owned by a lovely guy. Hope this perspective helps others with 4 legged friends
