Disappointing stay

Recently stayed here and left early due to the lack of peace and quiet and the site resembling a commercial vehicle park, never have we seen so many motorhomes continually driving by looking for a pitch and this combined with the continual use of tractors , grass cutting equipment etc we couldn’t cope with the noise! Surely it’s time the Club invested in electric vehicles by now? Seen them on many other sites around the country, good for the environment and for the peace of your guests. The final straw that made our decision to leave was when a huge motorhome, ( so large that it had to put it’s front wheels on the grass as the back end was overhanging the pitch!) The size of a single decker coach ! Totally blocked our view and the light and who honestly wants to sit and relax with something like this in your line of vision ? Have stayed at this site a few times over the years but sadly would never come back.

It is true about the slow switch to electric powered vehicles / machinery. This is what members (customers!) are seeking, so perhaps the C&MC management should take note and accelerate any plans that they have for being more ecologically friendly (and more quiet)

Have to agree with the comment about the huge motorhomes that pervade CAMC sites in recent years. Sometimes the site has the appearance of a lorry/coach park, which is not very desirable when you're on holiday.
